    • 1. CHRISTOPHER G YAMAT – CHAIR & NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Christopher has over 20 years of experience working with various multinational companies in Tanzania including General Tyre East Africa Ltd as an Industrial Engineering Manager, ABB Tanelec Ltd as a Sales Engineer and area Manager in Uganda, and most recently as Director, Development and Planning at JTI Tanzania (TCC). He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management and Post Graduate in Project Management from North Dakota State University in USA .

    2. MIRIAM J SOLOMON – Co-FOUNDER, SENIOR ADVISER & VICE CHAIR

    Miriam is a highly valued Company member, serving as a co-Founder, Senior Adviser and Vice-Chair, where she shares her extensive experience in finance, investments, business and marketing. She previously worked as the Treasurer for TARETO Travel Limited and TARETO Bureau De Change Limited, established in 1989. In 1996, these two companies were dissolved to form SOLOMON by the same co-founders, which included her late husband, Jeremiah Neeso Solomon. In 1995, the United Republic of Tanzania established the Capital Markets & Securities Authority through the Capital Markets and Securities Act, Chapter 79 R.E. 2002 in response to the financial sector reforms implemented in the early 1990s with the primary goal of developing the country’s capital markets. This move served as the catalyst for the formation of SOLOMON.

    Miriam holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Dar es Salaam. She has completed various courses, including the CMSA Brokers/Dealers course, and has been accredited with an Authorised Dealer’s Representative (ADR) license and an Investment Adviser Representative (IDR) license.

    3. ESUVAT D MOLLEL – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Esuvat has significant experience as a State Attorney using rules in prosecuting and giving legal advice in decision making, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the business. She is currently working at the Ministry of East African Cooperation as a legal advisor on interpretation of laws and complaints in regards to E.AC matter. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Mzumbe and is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.

    4. SIOI G SOLOMON – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Sioi is a skilled legal professional who has provided legal support to numerous platforms and organizations. Currently, he holds the position of Managing Director at SOLOMON Commodities Limited. Previously, he served as the Head of Legal Services at Stanbic Bank Tanzania Limited and as the Legal Services Manager at CRDB Bank. Sioi holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Banking from the University of Mzumbe, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom and is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He also holds a Securities Industry Certification Course (SICC) certificate from the Capital Markets & Securities Authority (CMSA).

    5. HIMID M DILUNGA – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Himid has over eight years of extensive experience in Business Management with exposure across various sectors including Information Technology, Accounting and Auditing. Currently, he is the Founder and Managing Director for Natio Limited, an Automobile company.

    He is certified in various professional in Information Technology such as Ethical Hacking and Counter-Measures, EC Council – the United States. He is also a member of The National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) being a Certified Public Accountant.

    6. NASIWA J SOLOMON – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Nasiwa is currently working at SOLOMON Commodities Limited as a General Manager. In this role, she oversees and manages all company operations. Nasiwa has gained valuable experience in the Banking industry while working at CRDB Bank Plc and in the Telecom industry at Tigo Tanzania as a Report Analyst. She has also worked for SOLOMON for over a decade, gaining the required exposure and experience in Capital Markets in the country. Nasiwa holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Strathclyde University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Management from Bangalore University. Additionally, she also holds a Securities Industry Certification Course (SICC) certificate from the Capital Markets & Securities Authority (CMSA).

    7. DR NOEL L SOLOMON – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Noel is a professional Medical Doctor who has provided medical services in both outpatient and inpatient settings for numerous organizations. Currently, he is the Managing Director at JMSOLOMON Company, a Polyclinic in the capital city of Tanzania, Dodoma. Previously, he served as the Assistant Medical Officer in Charge at the Bunge Clinic in the Office of the National Assembly and worked as a medical doctor in administration at the Ministry of Health. Noel holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from the University of Mzumbe, a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Hubert Kairuki University in Tanzania, and a certificate in Data Analytics earned online from India.

    8. KISALI G SOLOMON – CHIEF EXECUTIVE

    Kisali is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the financial market in Tanzania. He has served in various international financial institutions in the country, progressing through the ranks from Clerk III to Credit Analyst, before assuming his current position at SOLOMON in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He is a licensed Authorized Dealer Representative (ADR) and Investment Adviser Representative (IDR) by the Capital Markets & Securities Authority (CMSA), which is a testament to his competence and reliability in the industry. Furthermore, he is a licensed Securities Trader by the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), which further attests to his credibility and proficiency in the financial market.
